Attempting to avoid stereotypical archetypes,
ie. arrows, yin-yang, symbology etc, these drawings by
strive to avoid previous style or historical references.
The original previous SOM (Study of Man) template used in posts below (for SOM 1-50) were derived from a somewhat generic human form originally posted by
Tom Sale (aka Pinky Diablo) via Facebook.
Presented here are the prototypes for this ongoing work.
Each Study drawn by hand on archival velum over the template,
without stencils (circles, French curves or otherwise)
or other digital enhancements.
Final sprayed with Grumbacher fixative.
